all of which are dumb because while their borrowing your money they are printing more to pay you back. They are saying here help us hedge our money against the inflation we are going to allow the fed to make.

@Elizruth dump your US equities. If you believe in precious metals you obviously don’t want exposure to the USD right? Owning US equities you still have large exposures to dollar inflation.

i would put in gold that’s what the bank of England has huge gold reservoirs and in America fort knox. i would diversify my portfolio. . invest in junk bond mutual bonds especially in Asian markets. . wouldn’t go into REIT’s for the time being. . . . invest in government bail out companies they’ll be back in their trading peaks. . . there’s so much man securities, options , stocks!!

    Buy index funds
Stocks have overwhelmingly out performed everything else over any reasonable time period.

I’m putting my savings in gold and silver aside from the money I have in my retirement account at work which I have in a money market (1/2) and U. S. and foreign stocks (1/2). It’s about $500 a month. I’m 48. I’m putting $300/month in silver. If you have a gut reaction to my strategy could you please tell me? :-)

I agree. You are better off buying toilet paper than bonds, notes and bills. Maybe consider buying copper also. .
