    i. e IUPAC name is Dimethylketone

    You must remember that acetone is a ketone, the prefix -one gives you the clue that you have a ketone. YES, acetone has a double bond, the I. U. P. A. C name of acetone is 2-propanone so drawing the structure you find the double bond
