外匯衍生工具引髮香港金融風暴

    The FX derivatives were not the problem. The problem here was those coporations tried to profit from speculating on the forex markets. Instead, they should have used the derivatives to hedge their exchange rate exposure against market fluctuations. They were simply out of their line and abused the purpose of these FX derivative.
